Cabinet Oak Project
2023: Lyndon B Johnson National Historical Park Airplane Hangar, Stonewall, TX
Handmade book using planed wood from the broken branch of the ‘Cabinet Oak Tree.’ The accordion-designed interior pages are made from hand-made paper of sawdust and cotton imprinted with images created at the Park using various alternative processes. This was a collaborative project with photographer DorRae Stevens. This, along with 11 other pieces, was auctioned to raise funds for the Park’s artist residency program.
